I say, every cat is different... just like every human is and every woofie is...
I would say it is wiser to not generalize... cats, humans or woofies.
One of the features on 'individuality' is that is can never be fully predicted.

Those are wonderful pics, especially the second. You can see how content Sherkhan is in both, especially cuddled up with mum!
That is so very true - all us kitties are different!
That said, I do not like kisses or cuddles.
One of my sisters before me would bow her head when asked if she wanted a kissie. Of course she did! Not me for years!
Now, I kinda like them. Shh.
Some cats cuddle, some don't. Me, I like them on my terms. Short in laps, long times next to.

I most often nuzzle my cats like I think they do to each other...I hope they like that, think they do, they reciprocate...
Oh the Human is so jealous! She wants a big ole cuddly kitty! But instead she has me! Mwa-ha-ha-ha!
What fun, pictures of Sherkhan. That is so true about the kisses and cuddles. I think there is only one or two here that will cuddle with me and for heaven sake, do not kiss them. But they all were feral cats so I feel really honored if they let me pat them.
It's good to be an individual!
