[...] I was curious about whether all modern day kitties have seen a mouse one time or the other… Can you please vote to satisfy my kitty curiousity? [...]
I's voted fur tha sekund choice. We's seen mousies, an I's not telling iffen we killed or not. But wif six mighty hunter cats in tha house, those mousies know better than to come in here. Fanks fur tha poll, it is furry inneresting. Love & Purrs, KC
We live out in the country, so we have lots of mice. The kids don't go outdoors. so they hunt in the garage. They love to bring things in. One morning, I found a dead mouse, very artistically draped over my slipper!!
Mama read this comment and did not know right away whether to laugh out loud or outright panic! She's scared of mice, you see? Silly human! But she appreciates the way your kitties love you.... as far we kitties are concerned- it is a very nice gift!
I don't get to go outside, but a silly mousie came into the house right after I moved in. It didn't last long. Mom found out how it got in and plugged the hole. Darn it!
You have a mighty kitty there with you- dont you? Our house is mouse free, which is good for Mama- I guess... since I have not seen one as yet in life- I'm not sure what exactly I am missing out here....
When Mom and Dad lived in an apartment building, their cats Mohawk and Clyde never saw any mousies. Now that Mom and Dad live in an "older" house (about 60 years old) mousies get into the basement. When Clyde moved into the house, he killed his first mouse at ~ age 12, after having lived mouse free for all of his prior years. It was pure instinct that he knew what to do!
Mom and Dad would never know about the mousies except for us when we are on Mouse Patrol. Even though Panda Bear only has one eye, he is an expert mouser. Meerkat and Cookie are also great mousers. Padre and Caramel are pacifists when it comes to mousing. We have made several Mouse Patrol posts on our blog over the years, including a movie "Blair Witch Mouse Patrol".
Some of us that live here live outside and all of us go outside for most of the day so we do catch mice. And little moles too. It is so much fun. But kind of sad for the mice. Have a great day.
We both go for walks every day in our fields with our mum. I catch lots of mice and often eat them. Mum doesn't like me eating them, but I run to the other end of the field with them so they are all gone by the time she gets there. Eric doesn't catch many, he leaves it all to me. Flynn
Zippy kills dem outside and leaves dem fur mom. Inside, Sadie chases dem, gets dem cornered and I kill it, we also leave it fur mom. She really apreeshiates our efforts and praises us wif loud skweels of deelite!
Boots speakin'. I never told mom whether or not I ever saw a mouse before, but one got into the house and when mom came home from work - I called her to come and check it out! She was most appreciative of my handiwork, but she threw it out anyway! She called me her hero!!!
We are encouraged ta catch and kill anny mousies (and moles and voles) we see inside or outside. Sometimes we eat them, but sometimes we just play with them. We even got 2 the same day last week!

Thanks for voting, KC!
I must say, the result that it is unfolding- is very interesting.
Watching it closely.

I have never seen a real, live mousie. But we get lots of lizards here in south Florida, and we have accidentally deaded some of them.
We've never seen a live mousie in purrson, but we sure would like to!

We've never seen a live mouse. We live indoors. But we have seen live squirrels and chipmunks and even a possum outside. But they don't count.
