I am, however, comtemplating if mommy is ENOUGH sick that she can be persuaded to 'not' go hunting tomorrow and, in effect, spend yet another glorious day sleeping in with me on her lap?
I mean- of course I don't want her to suffer... but you know how sometimes all a human needs is a little bit of 'persuation' and they do exactly what is good for them?
What do you think? It is worth a try, right?

If my mum had even the smallest hint of feeling sick, she would be staying home tomorrow for sure!

I think that is the only real solution to her problem!
I definitely think you should persuation the Mom to stay with her lap for you. She sure does need the rest if she isn't feeling well. Hope it works. Lots of purrs might help.

Cats know best! Sherkhan, your Mom needs to cuddle you until every last trace of her hurty sinuses is gone! At least another day.
Even if she IS feeling better, she needs to stay home in order to avoid a relapse! These sinus things are tricky. That's what you need to tell her.
