Misplaced priorities

Mommy went to work today...

DSC_0067

Thank you all kitties who purred for her, but she said she had too much to do at work and she could not possibly miss it today regardless of however much she’d have liked to.... also, her boss is on vacation and she needed to sign a lot of papers in his absence, whatever THAT means... I’m almost past caring anyway... I said, almost.

... I’m sure she’d have liked me purring on her lap on the sofa better than ‘signing’ papers, but I am learning that to human mind ‘like’ is often not the ‘THE’ deciding factor.

I have asked it before and I’ll ask it again- why do humans have to make everything so complicated?

Sherkhan, you're one smart kitty. We humans do have this bad habit of complicating things.

Mommy will definitely miss out on having you purr in her lap. Just wait and see she'll say that when she gets home :)

Awwww sweet Sherkhan!!

Unfortunately hoomans have to go to this awful place called work to sign things and get green paper in return to get lovely things for the kitties! LOL!

Actually - you are so right! That's just so complicated!!!

Hope your mum is home soon!

Take care

:sigh: green papers! Should make some at home, then mom would not have to go to work.

Hope your mum is feeling better.

We don't know why humans make everything so complicated, either. We feel sorry for them, with so many of them believing they are the superior species on the planet, when all they do is run around like mad, get tied up in knots about everything...and then die. They should learn to slow down and appreciate the small things in life, not take everything so seriously.

We're just sayin'!

We think that Mummies like to feel that nothing gets done when they are not around - it makes them feel better to be doing hundreds of things at one time instead of one at a time!!

Oh it stinks your mom had to go to work. Ours does that too and we hate it (and we know she does too). But at least they get green papers so they can buy us treats by going there!!

Humans are strange. At least they have thumbs and scratch our tummies! That makes up for a lot.

The human need to complicate matters - the perpetual kitty conundrum! I'm afraid there are no answers.

If you can figure that one out you will win the Nobel Purr Prize!

It's their nature.

Thomas says, "The late Christopher, who taught me Everything You Need to Know About Humans, says that they do this to be able to bring home better food and more treats & fun toys. It's the only reason we let ours do it."

WHen she comes home, ignore her. Just for a minute!

Sherkahn, My Human won't quit her job and stay home with me either! It's an Outrage, that's what it is, and Outrage!

We agree about those misplaced, distorted human priorities Sherkhan!...Of course, absolutely nothing should outrank a kitty in importance=what is wrong with people??!!...We love your photo, sweetie; a very cool, artistic shot with the shadow effect and of course, gorgeous with the Sherkhan effect :) ...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

GOOD QUESTION, Sherkhan!! We've often wondered about humans when they say things like that, too! Our Mom says all the time that she like to just stay at home & cuddle with us than go into work... So why doesn't she???

Puzzling!!

Have a happy day!!
