I don’t like Mondays. You know why? Because it hampers the normal routine of things that develops through the weekend- like my humans staying in with me, like cuddles whenever I want one- or two, like practicing my meows (cats only meow with humans, never among themselves or when all alone), like more open rooms to roam around and sleeping on the human’s bed through the day.

And, Mondays? They force me to accept that the humans must go hunting and I must be left alone to guard our jungle- and stay home all alone, until they are back with all those unfamiliar smells...

We cats appreciate fixed routine. Too much change in that bothers us.

Oh well, it’ll pass... it always does. Meow!

We are not so sure that cats don't meow when alone. Angel will be off in a back room and be talking up a storm and no one is there with her! We hope you don't get to lonesome on Mondays!

You may be right, actually. I read it in many places that cats only meow to communicate with humans, among themselves they use different body languages- and vocal souinds and hissing, growling etc. But of course I never had a chance to verify if that is really a fact :).

Wish I knew what Sherkhan does when we're not home :)

I have been known to meow when I think no-one is at home to hear me. But mostly I huff at things :)

I am sick of this cold weather too! When is summer coming?

We certainly meow to the humans. They're slow witted and not so bright. But sometimes they do get it.
